The lyrics in this song feel kind of nightmarish, but that’s because they are painting a picture of surviving addiction and various times of great darkness in my life.

I wanted to name it SAVAGES to reclaim the term for my people. In my heart, to be savage is to warrior up and face all of the difficulties with pride.
